The Government of Madhya Pradesh, vide it’s notification no. F-3/02/2020/13 dated 08.05.2020 has notified REC Transmission Projects Company Limited (presently known as REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited) to be the Bid Processing Coordinator (BPC) for the selection of Bidder as Transmission Service Provider (TSP) to establish Intra-State Transmission system for “Development of Intra-State Transmission work in M.P. through Tariff Based competitive Bidding(TBCB) process: Package -I” through tariff based competitive bidding process. REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) (BPC) invited prospective bidding for selection of Bidder as Transmission Service provider (TSP) on basis of International competitive bidding in accordance with the “ Tariff Based Competitive bidding(TBCB) guidelines for Transmission Service” and “Guidelines for Encouraging Competition in Development of Transmission Projects” issued by Government of India, Ministry of Power under section -63 of The Electricity Act, 2003 and as amended time-time. The responsibility of TSP would be to establish the Intra-state Transmission system on Build-Own, Operate & Transfer basis to provide Transmission Service.

The Request for Proposal dated 31.12.2021 comprising of (i) Request for Proposal (RFP) document (ii) Draft Transmission Service Agreement (iii) Share Purchase Agreement and Survey Report Dated 11.02.2022 to Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., as regards to participation in the Global Invitation of Bids for establishment of ‘Development of Intra-State Transmission work in M.P. through Tariff Based Competitive Bidding Process, and as amended till the Bid Deadline including all correspondence/clarifications/amendments/Errata/corrigendum issued by REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (formerly known as REC Distribution Company Limited) in regard thereto (here in after collectively referred to as the ‘Final RFP’)

M/s. Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., by way of Technical Bid & Financial Bid pursuant to above submitted on 22.04.2022 in response to final RFP. The offer of M/s. Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd.by the way Final offer discovered during e-Reverse Auction conducted on 26.05.2022 in response to the Final RFP.

RECPDCL (BPC) communicated vide ref. No.: RECPDCL/TBCB/MP PACKAGE-I/2022-23/ 2345 Dated 29.11.2022 communicated that BID has been accepted and M/s. Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd.is hereby declared as the successful Bidder as per the respective clauses of Final RFP and LOI being issued.

M/s. Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., has submitted unconditional acceptance of LOI on 01.12.2022.

Further RECPDCL has invited M/s. Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., to complete the contractual obligations on 21.01.2023.
